Who is behind Dare 2 Share LIVE?
For the past 28 years, God has turned the ministry of Dare 2 Share into a movement that has mobilized more than one million teenagers across the nation to reach their peers with the Good News of Jesus Christ through events and resources.
Led by renowned speaker and author, Greg Stier, we believe that youth leaders who are equipping their students to share their faith are the answer to sparking a gospel revolution in our nation and around the world.
Dare 2 Share Ministries launched Dare 2 Share LIVE, its first ever simulcast, one-day, evangelism training and outreach event, in 2017 and is coming back for the fourth year on October 10th, 2020!
What does a live, multi-site simulcast look like?
Dare 2 Share LIVE is a national event with local impact. From coast to coast, the event will start and end at the exact same time. Broadcast from Denver, CO, no matter where you are, every group will experience each session together virtually (via simulcast) at the exact same time. And in the afternoon, each group will participate in an outreach experience in their own communities, bringing the love and message of Jesus in their own context.
How can I get involved?
There are several ways you can get involved:
- Participate with your youth group — Make plans to be a part of Dare 2 Share LIVE 2020. Click here to sign up for more information on bringing the live stream to your youth room.
- Tell other youth groups/churches about it — Know a youth group that might want to attend – either with your group or on their own? Send them to this link to get them started: dare2sharelive.org
- Help us pray over the event — Pray with us every day at 10:10, a.m. and/or p.m., to help us pray over this movement of gospel conversations.
You can also join thePrayer Force Facebook pagewhere over 1,000 people have joined us in prayer, and where we will also update you with what we as a ministry are praying for as October 10th nears. - Donate — Your generosity makes all of this possible! Please consider financially investing in Dare 2 Share LIVE to help spark revival across the nation. Click here to donate.
What is new with Dare 2 Share LIVE in 2020?
This year Dare 2 Share has made it our goal to make Dare 2 Share LIVE as easy as possible. We have made it easier than ever to bring students to the event and as simple as possible for your church to be involved. Here are the main changes.
- One price of $99 gives you the option to bring as many students as you would like. The church pays the fee and students come for free. Every church bringing students’ needs to purchase a church kit.
- There is no longer a radius of where you can host a LIVE Site. This means that you and a church down the street could both host LIVE. At Dare 2 Share we are highly recommending that you get involved with other churches to do the event, but we also know that this isn’t always feasible.
What is LIVE?
Dare 2 Share LIVE is a one-day evangelism training and outreach event. During Dare 2 Share LIVE your students will be trained on how to share a simple, clear gospel message with their friends and communities. Your students will walk away from Dare 2 Share LIVE with a new-found passion for the lost that will keep them on mission for Christ.
How much does it cost?
Right now, Dare 2 Share LIVE only costs $99 for your church to be involved. This price increases to $149 on June 1, 2020.
This price is the same for all churches, no matter their size.
Why does Dare 2 Share do Dare 2 Share LIVE?
Dare 2 Share LIVE started as a simple idea: to do a live, coast-to-coast, teen evangelism mobilization event in 50 cities. But God blew that goal out of the water! We had 68 cities year one! Then it blew up to 93 cities in 2018 and 128 in 2019!
Now more than ever Dare 2 Share is feeling the need for LIVE to be a thing. With estimates that 35 million teenagers are going to walk away from Christianity, we know we have to do something. By bringing a nationwide event to your youth room we can help combat this culture of none’s and grow the kingdom of God.
What is a network?
A network or a Gospel Advancing Network is simply a church network that wants to be intentional about training their students to share their faith and to impact their community for the gospel. We believe that if churches unite around the gospel for their community, our country will experience revival.
What are some Outreach Ideas?
- Here is a great blog: https://dare2sharelive.org/3-summer-outreach-ideas-dare-2-share-live/
- Have your students write letters to friends they want to share the gospel with
- Prayer walk in your community
- Put packages together for Operation Christmas child
- Pizza party/block party at or near your church
- Hand out snacks, water bottles, etc. around town
- Share testimonies on social media
- Pick-up sports games with free food
- Recruit the worship band from a church in your network to offer free live music at a local venue- provide free food and games
*We know with COVID-19 and everything the world is going through that outreach could be very different. We are here to help and will have new resources for this soon.
What happened to Satellite Sites?
To make Dare 2 Share LIVE even simpler this year we decided to turn every site into a LIVE site. This is to help with any confusion that might arouse and we also consider everyone valuable in this movement.
What is a LIVE site?
A LIVE Site is any church that receives the Dare 2 Share LIVE streaming license.
Can I just stream this event for my youth group?
Yes, but we encourage all churches to get involved with other churches for Dare 2 Share LIVE to bring the best possible experience to your students. That being said we understand that this isn’t always feasible. We still want your site to have some sort of outreach experience.
What are the minimum requirements for LIVE?
TECHNICAL NEEDS: The LIVE Participant should have a dedicated, closed internet connection for the Event. It is not recommended to stream the event over WIFI. It is recommended to use a hard line/Ethernet cable to streaming computer. Recommended bandwidth for streaming is 10 Mbps down. Adequate video projection and amplification for the size of room/venue being used.
REQUIRED ELEMENTS: LIVE Participant agrees to provide an Outreach Experience opportunity for attendees, so that they will be able to engage in Gospel conversations. Additionally, the LIVE Participant agrees to provide one main point of contact who will act as the “Emcee” for the event and host the attendees in the room during designated segments. If the LIVE Participant is working with other participants, they are encouraged to collaborate to accomplish requirements.

What’s the lineup for Dare 2 Share LIVE this year?
See our lineup here!
For what age range is Dare 2 Share LIVE best suited?
This event is designed for high school students, but it could be used with middle schoolers as well.
What is my role as the youth leader during Dare 2 Share LIVE?
Here we need to talk about being the Emcee, them giving the invitation to receive Christ after the Gospel has been given, planning and leading the outreach in their community, etc.
Can my students bring their unsaved friends?
Yes! They will hear a clear gospel and have an opportunity to put their faith and trust in Jesus. Then they get to go out and share that good news with their community.
Is Dare 2 Share LIVE connected to any specific denomination?
Dare 2 Share is an inter-denominational ministry whose mission is to energize the Church to mobilize youth to gospelize their world. To learn more about what we believe, you can check out our beliefs at https://www.dare2share.org/about/statement-of-faith/
Why do I need to fill out a Simulcast License?
We ask you to fill out the Simulcast License because it is a simple streaming license. This license legally allows you to stream Dare 2 Share LIVE.
How do I know if I have enough bandwidth to bring Dare 2 Share LIVE to my youth room/church?
Go to this website and press start. If you have 10mbs download you are golden.
What if some of my students don’t have smartphones?
That’s fine. We will have different instructions for those students.
Do we all need to download the LIVE mobile app?
Yes. We encourage everyone who is involved with Dare 2 Share LIVE to download the app. The Dare 2 Share LIVE app will have tips, tricks, and tools for the event – and it helps bring everyone attending the event together.
Can I invite other churches to join us?
Yes! We highly encourage you to invite every church in your community.
Do churches joining us need to get a Church Kit too?
Yes! Every church needs to purchase a Church Kit. This gives the church access to the post-event curriculum, but also allows them to brings as many students as possible.
National disasters, travel bans and sudden cancellations
This is where we should mention the show will go on and that if some level of social distancing or shelter in place is still going on, this event can still be done, but that there may be something outside of our control
